Taking flying leaps into the unknown

Taking flying leaps

I am sitting in Starbucks @ Pedro Valdivia Santiago. This or Diego’s house is generally where you can find me working. It has been almost 2 months since my last blog and it is incredible how much has happened.

Fundacity, the startup I co-founded with Diego in October, is really lifting off. We got incubated by IncubaUC, signed with an Angel Investor, are close to securing further investment and are being sponsored by Corfo to go to Silicon Valley for 5 weeks in February…..Separately, I am now a financial advisor to and this role has taken me to New York and Buenos Aires.

Diego and I are working hard to complete an MVP, minimal viable product, to start doing hypothesis validation with and to get ready an investor pitch. We fly to San Francisco on 1 Feb and we must have all this ready by then. We are working round the clock…we are obsessed which is great. I never had the pleasure of working with someone on an idea that is equally obsessed and hard working as I. I think this is what will help us differentiate and convince investors to support us. Having a good team is invaluable and I think I found a great teammate.

Over the weekend we had a bit of fun and created a video about the story and team behind Fundacity.
Thanks for reading!
