Been getting the sensation this week that I keep waking up more tired then I was before going to bed. On my way home 6km or 30 min bike ride I have the feeling I may collapse. Reflecting on the last few weeks its no wonder.
Working days were long, always 12+ hours with 15 min lunch breaks. Sales calls with clients in East Asia at 1am followed by 9am calls with clients in Brazil sure stretch the day… With audible.com I now even leverage my bike rides (1+ hour / day) to read books on business. 2 weeks ago I read How To Pitch Anything, followed by Killing Giants and now I am revisiting Lean Startup to help me plan our new product launch. Apart from the bike rides I do gym sessions and on the weekend I did a huge mountain trekking session. Weekends haven’t existed these last 3 weeks due to client work: Angel Hack then Startup Brazil and last weekend Taggify.
No wonder I feel like a corpse. For the first time in 14 months it was actually getting hard to start the day and dealing with challenges that cropped up at work. I even felt irritated at times… Vitamins and fruits are not sufficient to recuperate. It is definitely time for a recharge. This weekend the Funda team is going to the beach for some well deserved piscos, sun and fresh air…far away from Santiago smog. This is going to be awesome! Reñaca here we come!!
